Charlamagne tha God on Trump: “For once can this guy give working class people a break? His policies have already stifled job growth, raised the cost of basic goods through tariffs, weakened labor rights to favor corporations and other rich people like himself, gas prices are through the roof. Guys like James Dolan and Donald Trump hate us. The working class people who make them rich. When Donald Trump says things like he’s not thinking about Americans’ finances not even a little bit, this is what he means”

@ClubShayShay @neiltyson I totally agree BUT this is all before Big Pharma took over this country with their greed.

"Dead before they were 30. Every one of them ate organic, breathed clean air, drank fresh water, ate free range. ... We've doubled the life expectancy with antibiotics, vaccines, and sanitation." - @neiltyson

holy crap this is easily the best Tony Award speech of the entire night. hell yes to all of this
"This is dedicated to the beautiful tapestry of immigrant families who make this country really special. May you one day not have to audition for the empathy that should be freely given by this country that benefits from your beauty. To the queer and trans communities that always will exist, no matter what people in power try to take away from them. To the people of Palestine who deserve to live a free life – a full life – without occupation. ... If there's one thing we can learn from vampires, it's that life is short, but that's its gift. Find beauty in the ephemeral and gratitude in what is not promised."

@afroanalytic @edisonj_3 Well… some gay black people unfortunately have a totally different experience than you’ve been fortunate to have. They’re still homeless gay teens out here because their families rejected them. And when I said envy, I’m speaking of the unconditional acceptance that Blk men get
English

@KansasSt1 @edisonj_3 We do not envy straight black men in any regard. There’s nothing to envy. Our families love us more than them most the time.
English

@shadecovering @edisonj_3 Straight black men have been able to be some of the lowest hanging fruit and yet still are welcomed in their families and communities with open arms while gay black men have been treated as low hanging fruit by family and community just because they’re gay.
English

@KansasSt1 @edisonj_3 Are you serious with this comment? You can't be.

@Unapologx Missing the point that he says his sexuality is hardwired
But simultaneously dismisses that someone else’s sexuality is hardwired
🤨

Saying you were born gay is admitting to mental illness
Being homosexual is a decision you weren’t allowed to consciously make. It’s like having anger issues. No one grows up angry from the womb but as you grow older and your temperament becomes defined. You either are trained to remain calm or have no training and always lash out.
Exposure makes people gay. No child understands sexual orientation. Your sexuality is developed as you grow. Your drives become defined relative to your surroundings.

@nhoodpublicist Exactly! Discipline is freedom. War is NOT freedom and black men are constantly at war with themselves. Policing yourself will make you miserable, and black men are always policing themselves over what and is not masculine behavior. Joy is not masculine in their eyes.
