@triffic_stuff_ BT/TNT/now HBO are going overboard with this crap, having a female co-commentator, analyst etc. on every single big game it seems. Nobody asked for this, they're pushing an agenda on the paying customer that noone asked for.

@triffic_stuff_ We're gonna see more of this, the business side of things is starting to realise that the woke culture doesn't create any extra revenue and it's more likely that loyal fans will stop watching simply because they've had enough of pc nonsense being pushed upon them.

🔥 SIMON JORDAN SLAMS ALEX SCOTT AND FOOTBALL FOCUS IN BRUTAL ON-AIR TAKEDOWN! Jordan In Fiery Clash With Keown As He Defends The Show He Worked On 👊 Simon Jordan did not hold back as he explained exactly why Football Focus has been axed. “The reason why it’s gone is because it’s not very good”, he said, adding that people would watch the iconic show if it had “something intriguing at the centre of it”. He then turned his fire on presenter Alex Scott: “I think the presenter was flat. No charisma. No insights.” Martin Keown quickly jumped in to defend her: “I think that’s not fair.” Jordan fired back instantly: “You would do because you worked on it with her.” As Keown continued interrupting and defending the programme, Jordan grew visibly frustrated: “I’m not sure why we’re drawing you into this conversation,” he snapped, before landing the decisive blow: “Ultimately a show is held together by the people that are in it. I look at that show and think it was pedestrian. It focused on issues that weren’t important. I’m not interested in the sexuality of football fans of West Bromwich Albion!” Keown replied that change happens but we can still celebrate what the programme was all about. Even Jim White couldn’t resist, telling him: “Well you can because you were on it!” Simon Jordan is spot on. Football Focus lost its way, stopped focusing on football, and viewers switched off. Alex Scott’s was a big part of the problem. The axe was inevitable.

@HACKETTREF I'm gonna disagree with you on this one. Had Gyökeres not been fouled he could have just shot into an empty net from an angle. The last man rule should not apply when the last man is not the goalie, as the defender can not use his arms to try and make a save.

The following must be considered: distance between the offence and the goal general direction of the play likelihood of keeping or gaining control of the ball location and number of defenders Correct decision by Referee

@HACKETTREF what is view on the Pope foul on Gyokeres, and whether free kick and yellow card was correct?.

@CFO4TAG Why was the keeper holding his right knee when it's clearly his left knee that bends from under his weight ?!

🚨 The PGMOL have issued an unreserved apology to #LFC for not disallowing Daniel Munoz goal after referee Andy Madley forgot to blow his whistle when Freddie Woodman feigned injury. Howard Webb said “It was a lapse in concentration. I’m so sorry we let Liverpool down here. We will do our best make it up to them”

@braddersisjesus @UtdTony1 Covering defender was the last man, there was nobody in goal. Gyökeres could have just shot from an angle into an empty net past a player that isn't allowed to use his hands. It's a red any day of the week.

@UtdTony1 I support Arsenal but that's not a red, it was too close to the sideline and a defender was covering. Cynical foul, yellow card, move on.

🚨🎙️ Roy Keane: “That’s a clear red card on Pope for me — he knew exactly what he was doing. I honestly can’t understand how VAR failed to spot that.👀🔴🧤 Lately, VAR decisions have been raising serious questions. At times, it almost feels like certain teams are getting the benefit of the doubt, or maybe the officials in the VAR room simply weren’t alert enough to call for a proper review.📞👀 We all saw what happened in the Manchester United game, and then again in Fulham vs Brentford. It’s becoming a recurring issue, happening over and over again.😩 Football deserves better than this. The technology is there to help the game, so there’s no excuse for these repeated mistakes. I still believe we can do much better.”

@UtdTony1 The media is a huge part of the problem; they highlight some non-issues and completely ignore others. Motd completely ignored both of the aforementioned fouls that Arteta highlighted.

@AFTVMedia Ödegaard is a magnificent tactical and attacking player, if only he was a bit more aggressive in the tackle (he avoids contact a little too often for my liking) and could shoot from distance, he'd be the best #10 in world football.

1️⃣ Odegaard pointed to Nico O'Reilly, asking him to be marked by Martinelli. 2️⃣ Martinelli ignored and left Nico O'Reilly open, leading to Arsenal conceding the winning goal. Martin Odegaard obviously very frustrated. Say whatever you want, Odegaard deserves every bit to be our captain. Outstanding vision.

@PSGINT_ It's not a shoulder to shoulder body check, the contact is with Havertz's lower body, running into his thigh which takes him out. Ref had an absolute stinker, from the first minute when he gave Doku, a guy with the lowest center of gravity ever, two free kicks for falling down.

@MLFootball He's being played to play football, not be a rocket scientist. He may not have played up to his potential yet, but making him a scapegoat like the owner did is despicable.

THROWBACK: When Buffalo #Bills draft-pick Keon Coleman had ZERO idea on which way to sign his rookie contract. 💀💀💀 The team should have known then that it was not going to work out. x.com/Fatslob1123/st…

Wow: Patriots owner Robert Kraft says that he wants to keep playing in an outdoor stadium because it's an advantage in the playoffs. “How many of these indoor teams in the playoffs wanna come here and play outdoors… The outdoor stadium and the fan support are a unique competitive advantage.” Snow games are here to stay in New England 🥶 (via @ZoandBertrand)
