Absolutely not me finding an early 2000's drawing I did of my avatar from GaiaOnline. What a trip. You can definitely see where Kaoru's inspiration was born haha. Fox ears were top tier. Did anyone else used to be on there? I used to hang out and roleplay in the forums.

Everyone suffers differently and heals/copes in their own way. Some people dive headfirst into work, others need time away from everything, some people are quiet about their suffering and others are loud. I'm quite tired of hearing the 'well I have it worse because....' argument. Let people hurt and let people grieve in their own way without invalidating others pain You've never walked a day in another persons shoes, so don't tell them they're not allowed to hurt.

@AstaRawwr I've had my fair share of unsavoury comments and unsolicited hate over the years, it helps to be the better person in the situation. Thank you for apologising. Whilst it wasn't pleasant, sometimes we have those days and it's easy to take that out on other people.

With all this love for AnthroCon, I genuinely can't keep delaying my attendance. I'm going to start seriously planning for it next year or the year after if it lines up nicely. I've wanted to go to this convention since I joined the fandom and I'm so old and mouldy now haha.

@Heshbat Urgh yeah, massively! I feel it's all about timing, logistics and carefully planned finances. I've never been in a good position to go and my fursuit was always too much of a nightmare to think about transporting.
