Not because it is emotional. But because prayer that has formed saints for centuries still carries weight. This is what makes people uncomfortable. God does not limit His invitations to modern categories. He pulls people toward ancient practices that work. The Rosary does not compete with Christ. It leads people deeper into Him. That is why it keeps calling even those who never planned to listen.

I'm as reflexively non-interventionist as anyone can possibly be, but Venezuela appears to be a resounding victory and one of the most brilliant military operations in American history. As an unapologetic American Chauvinist, I want America to rule over this hemisphere and exert its power for the good of our people. If some shitty little tinpot third world dictator is harming our country or interfering with our national interests, we should do exactly what Trump did to Maduro. Why not? "International law" is fake and gay. The only international law is that big and powerful countries get to do what they want. It has been that way since the dawn of civilization. It will always be that way. And we are the most powerful country on the planet. It's about time that we start acting like it.

I'll Listen to an Orthodox ,once upon a time we were one and the same and we should find the way to reunite ,but everything else is "This is How I feel about God" type of nonsence and its crazy its even considered to be religion at all.

Protestantism is in a tough spot with Charlie Kirk. They say Roman Catholicism teaches a false gospel, but Charlie attended Mass. They say Catholics worship Mary, but Charlie said a lot of positive things about her that go beyond the typical “she’s just another sinner” arguments. Protestants don’t believe the saints in heaven can hear our prayers or see us, and that it’s idolatry to ask them for anything, yet over and over yesterday people appealed to Charlie as though he could. Protestants believe in faith alone for salvation but even Charlie’s pastor included a “work” (stand up and pray this prayer) to his call to salvation. We could go on and on.
