I’ll start by saying that there is certainly some questions about Matthews ability to perform in the playoffs. However if there is any chance the flyers can get him they need to take it. Flyers need an elite 1C, while McDavid would be amazing that’s more a dream, get it done.

TK has to go for the flyers, while he’s a solid player he simply cannot be the supposed guy for the flyers, he has been absolutely brutal down the stretch for the flyers not being able to score and his passing is something to say the least. Get a 2C or 1C with him in some deal

Awesome to have playoff hockey back in Philly, but there are levels unfortunately. You can just see it, flyers are completely outmatched from a talent and speed perspective and playing neutral zone trap isn’t gonna help. Would be a big accomplishment to just keep the games close

@PureCapitalist Well considering the oilers organization have done nothing but let McDavid down and the flyers are currently back in the playoffs with the entire city behind them, the best fans in the world, with a young fun team, yeah I think depending on the offer he would be interested.

Ducks winning makes for a very interesting dynamic. Assuming they hang on, you would have to assume McDavid is on his last legs with the oilers organization. The flyers have been waiting for a franchise center for years, Martone and Michkov are safe, everyone else… get it done!

I credit Tocchet for bringing the flyers back to the playoffs but he is not the right coach for the flyers. Dump and chase hockey has been dead for years but the flyers continue to play it. More than that the idea of having winger stay so low is just ridiculous, big game 6.

Really love Micah Morris for the eagles! He is a super athletic guard with great production at Georgia, he could be a big time steal for the birds. He had great speed and power and has good hands, over his last 3 seasons at Georgia he has allowed zero sacks, great pick!

More on Lemon: The comp to Amon Ra is dead on, his ball tracking skills and football iq are outstanding just like Amon Ra. His route running and hands will allow him to play both slot and outside, and when he gets the ball in his hands he’s a true threat. Excellent pick!

Love that pick from the eagles, Lemon is the type of player that Philly is going to love! A hardworking kid who while small will go up and get the ball and compete on every snap! He has great hands great twitch and quickness and his route running is exceptional. Home run pick.

Sucks that the perfect fit for this offense is really the guy we’re about to let go. No one in my eyes is as well rounded as Goedert but he deserves to get a bag somewhere.

@JakeRabadi If your going for a developmental OL I think proctor is the guy has some work to do and I do think he’s more of a guard but he has real upside just gotta drop some pounds and stout works on the technique stuff, athletically though he’s an absolute beast, legit freak of nature.

49ers' pathway to beating Eagles seems straightforward. It was illuminated by Saturday struggles — since Philly is a worse version of Seattle. SF needs Trent Williams, Ricky Pearsall back for proper protection, spacing. Purdy is the better QB. Hog the ball + ST edge from there

@SFSportsAndTech @demillz84 Sure it matters and Trent is great and all but even if he takes away Nolan smith you have to deal with Carter ojomo and Davis on the inside. And I like Ricky but he’s matched up against Quinton Mitchell lol. If he tries and go to the slot then he faces Djean lol

@demillz84 Momentum matters. If Trent and Ricky aren't healthy, we will lose to the Eagles. Same for Brock who took a terrible hit. If our offense is healthy, get ready for points in this game.

I will be there in person and I'm actually excited about this match up! I think the 49ers are going to surprise people here and get this win. Why? 1. The Eagles offense is not very good other than rugby style plays which is a sigh of relief for the 49ers heavily banged up and average at best defense. 2. Kyle knows the Fangio scheme very well and assuming Trent and Ricky are healthy enough to play, I expect a solid 20+ (maybe even 30+) offensive showing given Brock's mobility (that I think will be better utilized this game unlike week 18). I actually think a Bears rematch would have resulted in a loss and I think the Panthers DC has Kyle's number and the Panthers WRs would have played much better at home so that would have been tougher than the Eagles. We shall see if my gut instinct is right or not! Most importantly, love the heart of this team in figuring out a way to go 12-5 in the face of so much adversity and excited to watch them in the playoffs! #FTTB #49ers
