@AmericanAir They told my kid who went to pick it up that only valuables are kept 30 days. Jackets are dumped after 7 days.

@AmericanAir We left a jacket on the plane. You found it & told us to get it at Phx airport w/i 30 days. We went today & staff said nope! Jacket gone. You only keep them 7 days. Why not say this email? I could have sent someone else to get it.

No one can force an entity to create positions and the budget for it out of thin air and hire previously independent contractors as employees. I had 50 regular clients when #AB5 ended my 20-year career as a freelance translator. I did NOT become an employee - I became unemployed and poor. I'm turning 60 soon, I'm without transportation, still struggling. I loved my flexibility, I still love my profession, but my "democratic" government hates me.
