I'm so tired of my dad's arrogance.

I get what you mean. Here’s my opinion. But for YouTube, it seems like all they care about now is whether people watch the entire video. Everything they’ve done — in the past and now is basically to keep advertisers feeling safe. And their current solution is to push “complete watch time.” Over the past few years, younger audiences have come in massive numbers. Creators and older viewers like us have become more rational because of real life and social pressure. But kids aren’t like that. There’s a big generation gap. We don’t fully understand them, and they don’t understand us. So suddenly YouTube rolls out features that we feel we don’t really need… because honestly, no one truly knows what we actually need anymore.

@KardonTimus @PinaPengin I wonder how channels/creators with huge sub counts that are directed towards children with low member numbers could use this. I mean, children dont have money to pay for memberships but can b a part of the 1% group right?
