@Karenregester @HM_Passport Lucky. I sent mine off to Bootle and that’s 160 miles away from where I’m at down south east near london. It would great to be able to just pick it up.

@Karenregester @HM_Passport Who advised you can pick it up? My daughters is in bootle, I would happily go and collect once it’s ready. I wasn’t aware that was an option.

I now have one being delivered but the other still no progress for 3 weeks. What do I do? Take 1 child and not the other?

@HM_Passport This has caused so much stress, it's making me ill. My children can't go on holiday because noone can give me an answer after 3 was of no update on the process.

@HM_Passport Noone is responding to DM's to help, noone is responding to the online form. The phones are either too busy to get through bit if you're fortunate enough to on the odd occasion after a 3 hour wait, they can't tell you anything anyway and say 'there's nothing I can do'.

@HM_Passport This matter is now urgent. I have 2 passports waiting to be delivered with at 2 different places. Peterborough and bootle. They haven't changed status since the 29th September. We go early on the 25th October. I need them back by the Friday 23nd so I can get all forms sorted.

@HM_Passport I was on hold for 3.5 hours yesterday to then give my name to a machine saying I'll get a call back. Offices closed. Will I still yet a call back or do I need to wait in line again?

@HM_Passport I cant even get through on the phone today as its so busy. Doesn't even put you in a queue. Just says you're busy and hangs up.

@HM_Passport Do I need to call the main office or the individual sorting office to find out? I have 2 out in 2 different places. On hold yesterday at the main number for 3.5 hours, to get an automated message saying I'll get a call back, 15 mins before the offices shut. Please advise.
