@mediocrebrid Then they added the extra mount for 3k score, which is the equivalent of 12-13’s, probably around 22-23’s in SL terms. So the mechanical and cosmetic rewards are at a higher level today

@mediocrebrid Not entirely accurate: in Dragonflight, they condensed the M+ track such that a +20 in SL is the rough equivalent of a +10 today (seasonal tuning notwithstanding). During that time, the maximum gear rewards came from a +18 (later +8) which has since been increased to +10 in TWW

@Karkesis The level of difficulty/progress required to reach the reward level rating has gone down historically but the rewards have remained at the same number, that is (correctly) what people mean by too easy The infinite scaling is irrelevant to almost everyones goals

@lavatide @tettles imo once you throw raid loot into the mix it renders the whole point moot, like yeah if you supplement your gear with raid then any season could be a 1 week season depending on raid ease, loot luck, where bis comes from, etc.

@Alezedar @tettles for obvious reasons so you have this weird gap where you can't get into the keys you want without score, but you can't get score because there's no incentive for people to join lower keys. This has obviously *always* been the elephant in the room with M+ but it gets exacerbated

@Alezedar @tettles Actually the one argument I do agree with in favor of "this season is too easy" is that it's kinda paradoxically making pugging *harder*, as least from what I've seen and heard. The only keys you ever see listed are 2's and 8's or higher, and nobody wants to sign up to the 2's

@tettles From a personal stance, I'm very grateful for how easy KSH is this season with all the addon and spec changes. I thinking having an easy s1 is MUCH preferable to whatever TWW S1 was. For context, I capped at 15's last season and had a great time but TWW s1 was miserable imo

@Karkesis I personally disagree, but I get the point you're making. You're talking about the cap of M+ difficulty. I'm talking about where rewards stop for players being FAR too easy. It lowers replayability way too much and creates a worse video game imo.

@tettles Making Mythic difficulty actually Mythic difficulty right from the start isn't a problem though. Because RWF guilds were never playing on Mythic difficulty, they were playing on RWF difficulty. Getting rid of "RWF difficulty" isn't a problem for normal Mythic raiders.

@TodorG5 @tettles Just completely wrong, the game does not require 20 years of experience to do difficult content. Many friends and I started at the end of SL and were pushing title keys / M raiding by s3 dragonflight. This is nothing special
