There's a wide spread sentiment I've seen about the game where adding "accessibility" and making the game easier is good for the game. This can be a dangerous problem. Making things too easy removes satisfaction in progression. Nullaeus, M+, and now the raid are all very easy.

@Karkesis Deleted my other comments as after rereading im thinking you're saying you think the 12/13 barrier now is equally difficult as a 22/23 in SL and as far as season 1 is concerned that is just absolutely not even remotely close to true lmfao

@mediocrebrid Then they added the extra mount for 3k score, which is the equivalent of 12-13’s, probably around 22-23’s in SL terms. So the mechanical and cosmetic rewards are at a higher level today

@mediocrebrid @xXHecateXx Oh no joe got his portal week 1 instead of week 2. The only rating requirement that matters is still title and all these keys being 6 levels easier means that the cutoff is 6 levels higher. Not sure why we are trying to gatekeep KSM.

@Karkesis Shadowlands was 15 for mount, they've squished it since then

@mediocrebrid They increased the key level you had to do to get max rewards (both power level and cosmetics) literally last expansion

@Karkesis The level of difficulty/progress required to reach the reward level rating has gone down historically but the rewards have remained at the same number, that is (correctly) what people mean by too easy The infinite scaling is irrelevant to almost everyones goals

@tettles no opinion on the other two things but M+ can literally never be too easy, you can just do a higher key

@tettles I wish people could understand i simultaneously support helping newer / anxious players get into m+ or raiding AND Can observe getting 3k mount right now is like frolicking in a field compared to shadowlands s1 +15s, and that that makes it all way less satisfying

Loot bug totally fixed btw, my mage isn't dropping only weapons at all. Last 4 bits of dungeon loot as evidence

@xXHecateXx Thats literally the whole reason people bring it up, if a mount thats supposed to come from some higher end pve achievement is a participation trophy "pushing buttons after level 12 keys probably" like you said, then theres no value on it Its just like a 200g vendor mount

@mediocrebrid You are crying about content that you can push indefinitely. You think the high end mplus crowd give a damn if 95% of the key runners get's the mount? For the lower end, getting 3k is still gonna be a challenge.

@mediocrebrid I can't see any issue! You can prob get more ppl into mplus, buy not having them give up before let's say KSM thats like all +7. When you step out of the range +2 to +10 I'm sure it's gonna be balanced out. I really can't see the issue.

@xXHecateXx So main point being the 3k mount feels like its continously getting easier with each expansion, but the requirements never being raised to match

@xXHecateXx Shadowlands season 1 +15s were absolutely a better challenge than this, the key difficulty squish brought down the difficulty a lot and it seems like this expansions keys are easier in the same way (just not as drastic)
