Good NAs require labor for prep (liquor is shelf stable, fresh ingredients aren’t) or product priced the same as mid-level spirits. $16 blows but from cost of goods & services it’s not entirely unreasonable.

@PhyllisASears Weirdly, that also applies when drinking booze. I’m not suggesting anywhere give away NA drinks for free. But serving alcohol requires a license, additional insurance, and trained personnel with a serving license. The cost of a drink reflects that.

I’m thrilled that the zero-proof/mocktail trend is giving people more drink options in social settings, but y’all CANNOT charge $16 for juice. Part of the cost of an alcoholic beverage is the liability and risk associated with serving booze, which does not exist with NA drinks.
