🚨 BREAKING: Playr-Fit takes legal action against Dundalk FC over alleged unpaid debt of €130,000. Irish sportswear manufacturer Playr-Fit says it has initiated legal proceedings against Dundalk FC over what it claims is an unpaid debt of €130,000. In a statement issued to Between the Stripes on Nov 3rd, director Kieran Quinn said a writ has been taken against the club “in respect of an unpaid debt” and that no repayments have been made in the 12 months since an agreement was reached. Playr-Fit alleges the club “reneged on that agreement” and says the ongoing non-payment “places serious doubt” over Dundalk’s Premier Division licence eligibility for 2026. Quinn added that protecting creditors is vital for the “integrity, fairness, and sustainability of Irish football.” Dundalk FC have been contacted for comment.
