@RNCResearch That black girl’s arguments was so goofy and nonsensical during the entire sit down. She was defending billionaires in order to own the libs.

@MZanona @gtconway3d Did she meet with him after he sent the d pic?
English

NEW: She was 24 yrs old when she connected w/ Rep. Swalwell, who said he could help her with her career.
Messages on Snapchat that began as normal quickly turned flirtatious.. She says he sent her an unsolicited dick pic while laying in bed, told her how he had wanted to kiss her “so bad”, talked about how attractive she was, and said his marriage w/ his wife — who had just given birth — was “complicated”.
As she sought a job on the Hill, (before the snap messages) he invited her to his office to “come meet the team.” When she showed up with her resume — he was there alone.
Afterward, she says he asked her on Snapchat whether she could feel the “tension” in the room.
“I thought I was the only one that had this experience with him,” Ally Sammarco told me, describing her decision to come forward publicly (first to Cnn, now to NBC). “These people have authority and they're abusing it… I want to validate what these women are saying, and I feel like he needs a public reckoning in some way, or he's just going to continue doing this.”

Tyriq Withers on being a mixed person
"I definitely had identity crises growing up, and I think a lot of mixed people go through identity foreclosure. They feel like they have to choose a side, and I closed out on the white side of my life, and I think that's the epitome of an identity crisis. It's like, who am I? And I think, you know, instead of looking for a table, it's like a lunchroom in high school. You go in a lunchroom, it's like, where do I sit? Where do I sit? No, now I think I'm old enough to just live within myself and I just learn that. Sit, just sit simply. Bring my own table, uh, advocate for, you know, stories that I, I feel are very important, especially rooted in Black excellence, and use my privilege to serve as that."

@blackishpress I’m not here to deny anyone’s experience but as a black person i have never told a mixed person they were’t black enough or heard another black person say that. In fact, black people embrace based on the one drop rule.

@MikeJohnson doesn’t even sound like he believes himself while he spouts off excuses at this Epstein conference.

@VanJones68 Please take a seat. His speech was inclusive and brilliant.

ABOUT THE SPEECH: First of all: let’s all give Zohran Mamdani his due. He just did the impossible — beat Democratic royalty (the Cuomos), beat the money, beat the machine and then pushed past Trump himself to become the first Muslim mayor of America’s biggest city. That’s a huge accomplishment.
With this upset win, he has already written his name in American history books. And he’s only 34 years old.
The pride and energy you’re seeing from his supporters is hard earned and well-deserved.
That said: I would be remiss if I didn’t flag something I noticed during last night’s victory speech. The Mamdani on stage last night seemed like a different Mamdani than the one who won people over on the campaign trail.
While campaigning, Mamdani was calm, warm, inclusive — the kind of guy who built a big tent that might have a place for everyone. But last night, his tone was sharper. His voice was louder. His rhetoric was harsher. His famous smile and sense of humor were mostly absent.
His many supporters loved it. But others just couldn’t relate.
That was a missed opportunity.
I greatly preferred Mamdani’s FIRST victory speech — the one he gave when he first upset Cuomo and burst onto the global stage this summer. It was brilliant, warm, sunny, inviting. If he goes back to that mode — the world could be his oyster.
Fortunately, as he continues to make history, Mamdani will have many, many more speeches to give

@TheChiefNerd He is lying! He is trying to sell books and ingratiate himself to DJT so he and his family can get in on the grift.

@libsoftiktok Considering that the President is targeting Democrats, I wouldn’t give him voter roll information either. Anyways that is state informativo.

@NBCNews It’s so scary how many hypocritical idiots so freely reveal themselves. I don’t want the federal government to give universities ultimatums. And if cutting edge research isn’t done here, it will be done abroad. And no MIT will not be replaced by trade schools.
English

MIT has become the first school to reject the Trump administration’s proposal that offered a select few universities preferential access to federal funds in exchange for agreeing to a set of demands. nbcnews.com/news/education…
