Blowing up Universities! If you are an academic and you do not condemn this: shame on you! Israeli colleagues? Where are you? Where is your wisdom? The matter for academics in a totalitarian regime is this: not speaking up makes you complicit.

The Israeli military just blew up the University of Palestine in Gaza City with 315 mines. All the universities in Gaza have been damaged or destroyed. We need a full academic boycott.

@pengpeng_xiao Pushing pre-Docs into publishing is wrong on many levels. The PhD phase should be about exploring and experimenting with ideas. Rewarding publications so early pushes young researchers towards extreme intellectual conformism. Please stop this.
