@AlexAndBooks_ Breakthrough Rapid Reading by Peter Kump. The book is a simple but time consuming course. If you have a fast starting point. You can get stuck in the process. Just move forward, and find the next method that works. a.co/d/05ptqFaA

@darrenmarble Searching for Pre-Seed is a risky and expensive route. If you can't find an investor, you are back to square one. If you find one you part with a chunk of your business at the worst valuation possible. Searching for customers is a much better route.

Too many founders are seeking Pre-Seed capital instead of building an MVP. That’s the point of entrepreneurship: you have to create something from nothing first.

@ThePeterMick I look for simplicity. Easy sales, short product version cycle, simple delivery. Anything that can shorten the time to market. I typically have a short list of 3-5 versions . I can go back to, when I get stuck.

@ThePeterMick Now select the ones that you have a good feeling about. About 25. Sort them into 3-5 categories And here comes the hard part. You have to figure out what it would take to make each of them work. You can no longer say no, each could be the _one_

@darrenmarble No. A retainer gives him incentive to stall the process, and deliver after 36 months. 900k in retainer fee, 100k in success fee, and zero to you.

Founders: would you pay a Broker-Dealer a $25k retainer and 10% success fee if you knew they would raise $1M for you? 🤔

I read a long list of questions you should use to identify a customers need before making a sale. I don't have patience for that and neither do the customers. Instead I ask one question: Will you buy it? And wait. Okay, maybe two: Why not? #solopreneur #entrepreneur

@ProductiveChris Laugh it out. When our kids were aged 1 and 3, they got sick during the night to 26th of December. I came back from the all-night pharmacy, all our bedsheets were covered with puke. My wife sat in the sofa with the kids sleeping. We looked at each other and laughed heartedly😂

OK I'm sick with the third illness my daughter brought home from nursery. Apparently we can expect to be sick a total of 10-12 times in the first year... I'm taking any tips from parents on how to get through this period without screaming (or coughing) into a pillow 🙂
