@CrystalHope1979 I feel this. My children were separated long intervals from their older half siblings - it’s always heart warming yet bittersweet when they have reunions. I’m just thankful that I was able to help facilitate their reunions when my two were unable to do it for themselves.

As I type this, Murphy is undergoing surgery. I’m confident our vet will get rid of the stones… especially since he’s our bestest boy who has done more for me than any oncology drug (well, maybe not quite). Right now, it feels like I can barely breathe. Get well, buddy. #dogs

I am very concerned to learn that Ontario is considering changes that could eliminate rent control, opening the door to rent hikes that could push people into homelessness - making an already bad situation worse. I grew up in a one bedroom apartment and while my mom and I didn’t have a lot, we had enough for us to stay there. Rent control was a lifesaver for us. 10 years ago I left my abusive relationship. I went into huge debt , I lost my dog and the car I shared with my ex. I’ve worked my ass off since to rebuild. Today I am financial stable. I have two dogs and today I get my first car I bought myself. I am so proud of myself.
