KasSigner v1.0.4 "Toccata" is live. 🤟🏼 An air-gapped hardware signer you build yourself on a $15 ESP32-S3, talking to a browser watch-only wallet through QR codes only. No USB, no Bluetooth, no radio. Ever. And now: covenants on Kaspa mainnet. 🧵

@AdamAssets @KaspaSilver @KaChat_ Thanks for reaching out, but I’m not looking into licensing anything. KasSigner is free and open source, built on open knowledge shared by the community…

$KAS The first ever @KasSigner transaction done on @KaChat_ 👀 Why is this a big deal? KasSigner is a fully open sourced air gapped way to sign your Kaspa transactions. Your seed phrase can live on a SD card. Your passphrase in your brain. Seed phrase NEVER has to be written down. Utilizing @KaChat_ to interact with your KasSigner device opens the doors to enabling covenant support with a nice UI. Your keys never leave the KasSigner device. @KaChat_ is being positioned to be your go to app to do all things Kaspa.

You should keep multiple backups of your wallet. @KasSigner lets you manage them in different ways: from the standard wordlist to a stego image or QR codes. Use as many as you like… and remember: @KasSigner is fully stateless. Your seed lives in RAM only and vanishes at power-off. 🤟🏼

After playing around with my Argent compiler (multi-app multi-contract compiler to Silverscript) for several days now, my belief that interesting and rich partitioned-state defi with atomic composability is possible on pure L1 UTXO rails is growing stronger by the day

There’s an internal devnet that’s been running since Feb also. Work is ongoing to: - implement incremental UMC (context: paper version is not efficient enough for mainnet, so an incremental version is necessary for production usage) - onboard devs from core to get more people up to speed on dk

@IzioDev That’s what ‘universal’ means to me, but no need to reword it. It was my starting point, but I realized it’s too complex for the average user to interact with.

@KasSigner If the post made you think of somehow a macro covenant handling all cases, it's not the case at all. Show me what made you think that so I can fix the wording

how can we make covenant **universal** from a wallet/user perspective? aka, i click a button on my wallet and i can deploy vaults, transfer from it, and overall interact with the covenant ecosystem. all of that, and **avoid** eco fragmentations the best we can

@KasSigner My understanding is that KasSigner sort of hardcoded pre-defined covenant type, this is exactly what I want to avoid. Otherwise, if I have a good covenant, I need to convince you to make manual changes to your wallet software so users can utilize them, right?
