The UFC wasn’t willing to even pay Ilia Topuria to fight Islam Topuria’s manager confirmed that Topuria turned down the number that was offered for the hypothetical fight. Crazy how after this Topuria comes out & says Islam ducked him for a fight that was never happening

Manager Malki Kawa says they said 'No' to the money that was offered for the Islam Makhachev fight, and the UFC ended up making Topuria vs. Gaethje: "We were focused on getting an Islam fight. Then on Wednesday I was asked, ‘Would you guys want to do [Islam] or [Gaethje]?’ We said absolutely [Islam]. They gave us a number, and we said absolutely not. After that, we didn’t hear anything. If the Vikings don't sign Kyler Murray it is organizational malpractice. The Vikings fucked up so bad last offseason by letting Sam Darnold walk, and now a former 1st overall pick is on the market for $1.3 MM next season. The Vikings should be feeling blessed by the football Gods that Kyler Murray got released.
