Ghana has designated every Wednesday as a day to wear the country's traditional outfit, the fugu, days after it sparked an online debate. President John Dramani Mahama wore it during a state visit to Zambia, where some mockingly called it a "blouse,".

@fermiscat077 @kovaboy So technically you’re saying Illegal mining is ok since the average Zambian can not afford to do it the legal way?
English

No I hear you… You’re not wrong..
But remember, for the average Zambian a small scale mining license is not affordable…
They may get an artisanal mining license, but that comes with too many limitations to even make much sense…
So by design, the system will favour the rich.. I.e , foreigners
English

If you’re soft with illegal miners, you’ll end up having rebels in your country.
plant a tree 🌱@MHopeMK
So this commander really used the word 'exterminate' when referring to illegal miners in Mufumbwe. 🤣

@Lawrence_LH7 Women are strong. It’s not easy the kinda what seems to be seamless work they put in.

@fermiscat077 @kovaboy This is the problem we Zambians have, we clearly don’t understand policies and wish not to only thinking that because I’m Zambian I can do whatever I want. Countries are governed by rules and regulations, locals don’t wanna follow that

🚨 Breaking News 😳😳😳
“I can’t date a man who can’t spend $1 MILLION on me. I’m too rich and beautiful.” — Tyla
According to Tyla, love without money is noise. She made it clear that she’s not interested in broke love, saying if a man truly loves her, spending $1 million shouldn’t even come with complaints.
She added that she can already spend that amount on herself without blinking — so any man stepping into her life should be ready to do double, including buying expensive Chanels without stress.
“My love is directly proportional to money,” she said — and she’s not sorry about it.
Africa’s most beautiful girl has officially set her standards, and it’s clear she’s aiming strictly for billionaire love only.

@Tilda_09 There’s always a better person waiting for you on the other side. Good luck 🍀

Anonymous confession:
I'm a married man in my mid-30s, and if I'm being honest, my ego is bruised.
Before we got married, my wife already had a thriving business. I admired her drive - that's what drew me to her.
But marriage has changed how it feels. She earns far more than I do, and it's messing with my head.
I suggested she put the business in my name so I could lead it as the husband while she supports. She shut it down immediately, saying she can't hand over what she's spent years building. Now I feel disrespected, and I'm starting to question whether she truly values me or this marriage.

@briansimasiku People, especially those in technical fields don’t realize that their business is solely dependent on their honesty. And right now you definitely don’t trust them anymore and that’s a client lost. Worse of, you can never recommend them to anyone. And that’s how they lose in bness

My tenant called to complain that water wasn’t getting into the cistern in her master bedroom. I quickly called my usual plumber, who later told me the problem was serious and sent a quotation for K6,000, including K1,000 for labor. He claimed he would need to dig up and replace a stretch of piping.
Something didn’t feel right, so I decided to check myself. When I looked at the flexible pipes and tap, I asked him to remove the one that radiates into the cistern, and that’s when we realized the swivel had accidentally been left in the off position. I turned it back on, and water started flowing normally again.
I offered to reimburse him for his transport, but he complained that I should have paid him at least half of his earlier quote. I told him instead that he should be paying me for making me drive out for such a simple problem.
What frustrates me most is that this is the same plumber I’ve used in most cases. Now I can’t help but wonder how much I’ve lost over time due to his dishonesty.
He probably thought I wasn’t around. The frustrating thing about Lusaka is how some people try to profit from nothing. Ndola is different, folks there may be hard up on cash, but they value earning it honestly; at least the ones I deal with.
