@DarwinianVyas My controversial opinion : I think either one must be comfortable with watching animals getting killed or else not eat meat at all.

As much as I appreciate the engagement with this post, I’d like to ask people who want to eat meat but are still upset with this : What else would you think is a better way to kill? Getting shot in the head? Gas exposure? Injections? Mechanical beheading? If they were in the wild, they would be bitten alive by predators, which is even more gory and painful. People will freak out over this, without realizing that the alternative to this system is a big hairy dude smeared in blood as he is slitting the throat of one pig after another with a huge iron blade. On the other hand, this electric stunning looks like an incredibly instant way to kill. If you don’t want to eat an animal that was killed, then become vegetarian like me. My point is that when you have decided to kill for sure, then any process of killing animals is shocking. Humans have been eating meat for millennia, and I don’t think killing animals can get any better than this.
