That area of LOW pressure has been dominant since Friday ken Anyway. They spin ANTIclockwise (in the northern hemisphere) so the western side of the country usually gets the short straw as the Jet Stream moves west to east (unless we get a really strong SSW event). And if you look at my wee blue dot, I’ve got the HIGH pressure, which spins CLOCKwise. Hence why we’ve had a strong NW blowing in Weather wise for SCOTLAND - It stays blustery tonight (or windy, or whatever the fuk you want to call it) with showers, heavy at times, merging into longer spells of rain especially across the NW, the extreme north and the Northern Isles later on COLD FROSTY start Monday morning with the last of the blustery showers clearing the NW as we go through the day The best of any brightness we get will be further SOUTH and EAST Highs on Monday of +9/11c degrees PS - Tuesday is looking no bad, and probably the best day of the week #pressure #weather #holiday #scotland #nature
