I find it of great interest that our #politicians will give time for #PhysicianAssistedSuicide but won't fix this issue. For years they have left it to the voluntary sector to fix it. The way we care for our dying says what kind of #society we really are...

We really need powerful advocacy to ensure our excellent hospice sector can survive to provide much needed care, only yesterday I heard that a friend had been told there were no available beds at their local hospice, no 24/7 support other than hospital care.
