@wandbc we’ve got some serious drain issues on Chillerton Road with pavement flooding and water cascading down Welham Road. Please can you send someone to look at it? The drains are totally blocked with mud and have been for the 3 years I’ve lived here.

My friend's mum, who's in her 70s, lives in East Grinstead where there's still no water. Today she put on a shower cap and went into her garden to have a shower in the rain. I just can't even imagine how people are coping.

My oldest son and husband are sleeping in a different hotel room to me and our twins. My son just rang me on the room phone to say good night. We chatted and then he asked ‘how do I end the call?’ ‘Just put the phone down,’ I answered. It’s really a different world they live in!
