@BBCr4today so bored of phones in schools coverage. The current year 11s were told they had to have phones in year 7. Their timetable and homework were initially only available on phone apps. Now schools have changed their mind but the kids still have the system school set up.

@AliMirajUK since women risk dying in childbirth and do the vast majority of the drugery involved with 18 years of childcare, their bodies, lives and careers forever changed, yes they should get to choose. Stop shaming women. Abortions are probably unpleasant experiences too.

@IainDale so many men on your show excusing Andrew Windsor's alleged rape based on the age of the victim. A trafficked female of any age hasn't consented so it's rape. Shocking that so many men are failing to accept that.

@lewis_goodall Kirk had some misogynistic views and liked to be divisive. He used aggressive misdirection in arguments but built a career on debate. Life isn't about agreeing with everyone. He shouldn't have been murdered but he shouldn't be martyred. He wasn't mainstream he was Victorian.

Seeing a great deal of what Boris Johnson has suggested in my timeline, the idea that Kirk represented mainstream opinion/common sense. His murder is appalling. But this is nonsense. Some of his views -Profoundly conservative on gay rights. Didn’t believe in gay marriage. Said being gay was an “error” and compared to drug addiction. - didn’t believe in abortion in almost any circumstances. -called for a ban on all trans gender affirming care. -he spread falsehoods about voter fraud, Covid and other conspiracy theories. -suggested he opposed birth control and had very traditional views on women and how they should live their lives. -claimed the Great Replacement Theory was UK government policy. None of this could ever justify any violence. It is a matter of fact that his views were nowhere near mainstream. He clearly relished debate and was very influential. But in some cases, in many cases, his views were extreme.

@LBC @IainDale Farage wants women to have more children but wants to scrap the NHS. $10k for a straightforward birth, $100k for complications. Have a prolapse add $8k to the bill, plus vaccinations and any childhood illnesses and women will be trapped in so much debt. Miserable lives for women.
