This was always going to happen though. The only other alternative is total global economic collapse, civil wars, depression, famine.
Society can’t function on $200 oil so countries were always going to be forced to get involved.

@heyhalima Idk what they’re trying to do behind the scenes. I think France as a nuclear nation is the one poised to take leadership in discussions but there’s so much noise I have no idea if they are speaking with the Iran regime.
But that’s negotiating w/ 3 states that want diff things

This is a mess because of who is head of the USA. He sees no use for NATO; none for the UN. All other world leaders are just to be made fun of in his offices and he changes his mind on a whim.

Denis had to make the choice to have Chani as the foil to the fremen who accept Paul bc otherwise he’d have another Homelander.
With media literacy at zero, directors can’t rely on the audience to “get it”. Without Chani saying “THIS IS WRONG”, fanboys think Paul is the hero
