Lockdown project finished and off to the framers. It took as long to sew as it took all the orchids to bloom.

@ElizabethTingle Oh Liz you’re ahead of me as well! Rest of the garden is well ahead, like @gpmoran pointed out. I am trying to grow cordon-style this year, maybe that means they’re off to a slower start...

Have been trying to attract a swarm, lots of positive signs the last few days - hopefully this is it! #beekeeping

@gpmoran @ElizabethTingle I’m impressed how early these are! My very first one just opened yesterday, I’m a few weeks away from a bunch...

@HindlePaul I would like to double-like this! Definite peony envy, mine aren’t looking nearly that close.

@ElizabethTingle you’re my go-to nature advisor! Any idea why there are so many more bees around this year? Garden full of truly giant bumblebees. Lockdown-related?

Advice please fellow gardeners of twitter: if I am growing my sweet peas cordon-style this year, presumably I do NOT now pinch out the growing tips? Thank you 🙏 💐 #GYO #CutFlowers

I never have much success keeping the chickens laying over winter but they’re finally back! Makes the mud and dark mornings worth it. Now for the ducks please... #backyardbirds
