The role of the teacher used to be the giver of information. But technology can do that now. So the role now more of a Connector. Connecting (relationships) w/ students so you can then connect content (relevance) to their world in a meaningful way they aren’t able on their own.

Admin, take care of your staff by limiting meetings, keep planning open, give breaks from duty & ask how else you can help them. Servant leadership is critical to help your staff thrive!

@FilLettieri Gathering data may take on a different form, moving from quantitative to qualitative. Just as we value the importance of learning skills in student development, as we adjust our methods of assessment we must consider reporting results in a more holistic way. @FilLettieri #PQP2

@FilLettieri Culturally Responsive Teaching recognizes the importance of including students' cultural references in all aspects of learning and sharing that learning with family and community members. With technology we can connect to a wider audience and share our learning. #PQP2

@FilLettieri An inclusive classroom allows our students to feel safe and take risks in their learning. When students see themselves in read alouds, work examples, and scenarios they feel valued and celebrate the diversity of their classroom and classmates. #PQP2
