The state Government thinks it’s a good idea to mandate that employees can wfh 2 days a week. Leave aside the impact on productivity after our worst decade of productivity growth in 60 years and leave aside how unfair this is for employees who can’t wfh, when did we become a society that is obsessed with mandating just about every activity. It is time for people to tell Govt they are sick and tired of them interfering in everything and depriving people of agency.

I am constantly meeting people who are actively seeking ways to leave Australia. These people are all alike: hard-working taxpayers and asset owners. Their pessimism for Australia's demographic, social and economic future is overwhelming. Is anyone else noticing this?
