Reading interventionists should *not* be called “RTI teachers.” This reinforces the idea that RTI is a service (it’s not), & makes it sound like gen ed classroom tchrs have no role in RTI (they do). In fact, they are the most important tchrs in an RTI framework. Tier1=prevention.
