We’re currently investigating an issue causing some users to encounter errors when using Agent. Some Agent runs may fail or return errors. Thanks for your patience as our team actively works on a fix!

The exciting thing is that I now have three new ideas! The daunting & scary thing is that I now have three new ideas! And thus the journey feels never ending. Exciting times!

And I had an idea for a new app... Every single project traces back to a moment where I said "this doesn't work for me" and then built or imagined something better. The dialysis tracker, Chat of Chats, RoutineMinder, and now this chain from a LinkedIn article to three interconnected ideas in one afternoon.

I came across an article at LinkedIn. Twice - by the author and a person referring the article - it was mentioned: author: "It'll probably take you a half-hour to read, and if you let it, it may entirely reshape how you think about large-language models." Someone else sharing the article: "Go read this - it’ll take some time, but this is *very* important to understand" I almost ran away from the article before i even looked at it...

I'll be turning 68 next month. The most difficult thing about this realization is that I've still got a lifetime's worth of learning & exploring on my to do list... with only a fraction of one left... @ManusAI had a great response to that... "The math starts to feel uncomfortable when you realize the runway is shorter than the ambition." Not sad. Not scared. Just aware. Still excited - more so now than ever.

Decided I should learn how to code. Where should I start? Although I cannot write code from scratch, I can read and understand it. I now want to learn how to interpret it. After having spent the last 20 or so years in web development, first as a "builder" and then frontend, and now project lead & management I'm all in on "Agentic Engineering" (formerly known as vibe coding). I need more skills to better vet a project.

@raymmar @MannyBernabe I'd like your opinion on a statement (below) I heard in this video (below). This is a sentiment that appears to be increasingly amplified. Are we indeed shipping "houses of cards?" i have my opinion. What say you? "Juniors who lean on AI without building the theory underneath, they move fast right now, but in 5 years they'll be the people who nobody wants them on the team. Non-dev people  shipping with [vibe coding tools] will keep shipping houses of cards" youtube.com/watch?v=7zCsfe…

Its safe to say software developer jobs are fine despite AI I have 15 years experience in software development, and I know what to prompt, but still it takes hundreds of prompts to create an app with AI If you have 0 experience, you dont even know what to ask it. then what do you do when the app breaks ? non-devs have no chance to vibecode a production app devs on the other hand seem to get superpowers

A girl sits in her car scrolling through her email, heart sinking as she reads, “We’ve decided to move forward with other candidates.” It was for a cashier position at Target. She exhales in disbelief; she has a bachelor’s degree *and* a master’s, yet she can’t even land a job at the register. Applications, interviews, rejections… over and over again. She whispers, “What was all that hard work for?” This is the reality many people are quietly facing; overqualified, underemployed, and emotionally drained. The job market can feel confusing and unfair, where education doesn’t always translate into opportunity. Have you ever felt stuck between being “too qualified” and still not being given a chance? How did you navigate it?

Vibe coders are not going to like this. UC San Diego just published the first real field study of experienced developers using AI agents. They watched 13 of them code in the wild and surveyed 99 more. Zero of them vibe coded. Not one developer "fully gave in to the vibes." Not one trusted the agent to ship. The researchers found the opposite of what every Cursor demo on your timeline implies. Experienced devs plan before they prompt. They load the agent with heavy context. They verify every diff and refuse to merge code they haven't actually read. "Flow and joy" coding, the whole Karpathy vibe coding pitch, got quietly rejected by every professional in the study. They said it's fine for throwaway prototypes. Not for anything that ships. The devs still liked using agents. They just don't let the agent drive. Turns out the people who've shipped software for a decade know something the vibe coding influencers don't. Huang et al., UC San Diego. December 2025. Paper in comments.
