@LIRR just wondering when this mask policy is actually going to be enforced. Every day this week on my commute several riders have been without masks and the conductors do nothing.

@LIRR @SarsarJohnson On a train right now. Person behind me isn’t wearing a mask nor is the person across from me. The conductor checked their tickets and said nothing. Same thing this morning and yesterday. No enforcement and no fines.

@SarsarJohnson Hi Sarah, masks are required to be worn the entire time and they must cover the nose and mouth. While 95% of our customers are complying, as a last resort, those who are not wearing a mask or face covering are subject to a $50 fine by police. ^AC
