The most delicious Jaffa cake with a difference ever at this fabulous gastropub headed up by Masterchef the Professionals winner 2022 Nikita Pathakji. Monkfish with laksa to die for too. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. @theprincessofshoreditch @TravWriters

@mikeep6 @barcelohoteles @PlayaBlanca @lanzarote @TUIUK @TravWriters I think you’re right. That seems to be the case. Staff are not up to speed yet and spa, shop etc not open. No running water in the public bathrooms apart from the disabled cubicle. Lifts on Royal Level out of order until Monday.

@KathrynListon @barcelohoteles @PlayaBlanca @lanzarote @TUIUK @TravWriters It’s opened way too soon before being properly ready. They wanted the Christmas trade at the expense of quality. Bad decision. Locals knew this would happen. Too greedy.

Teething problems galore at new @barcelohoteles @playablanca hotel @lanzarote. Staff very obliging. Breakfast orders slow. Coffee never arrives. Towels, coffee not replaced. Lifts out of action. Spa shut. Lovely hotel, great when it’s properly up and running. @TUIUK @TravWriters
