@GovMurphy Years ago I had a friend contact Legionnaire's Disease through AC ducts in a hotel. If one virus can be carried that way so can Coronavirus. So I agree with this. Except the same holds true for schools. How can you be concerned for one and not the other?

@GovMurphy Ok but we can go back in to school buildings with hundreds of people..? 🤔 How does this logic apply to restaurants that adults CHOOSE to go to, but not schools? Either we accept the risk and open both, or we don’t open either. 🤷🏼♀️

@GovMurphy How on Earth is that NOT a concern in schools, which will have more people in one location for longer amounts of time, many with antiquated HVAC?!
Remote learning for all is the way to go. It has to be. As a teacher, you’re crippling my ability to even have a say for my family.

WATCH THIS. A case study of coronavirus spread in January that occurred in a restaurant in southern China. One infected and contagious diner was able to spread coronavirus to nine other diners. All of these patrons were seated in a straight line from an air conditioner.

Air flow is a constant concern. This is why we’ve been much more forthright in reopening outdoor activities. Allowing diners to sit maskless for an extended period of time in a restaurant where the AC could silently spread coronavirus is a risk we cannot yet take.
