Statement below from @DemMayors on today's shooting by federal agents in Minneapolis:

I join my fellow mayors, present and former, in support of Minneapolis @MayorFrey – and I have donated to his legal defense fund being organized in part by the @democraticmayors.

Congress must do everything in its power to shut ICE down permanently, even if that means shutting down the federal government. The agents who are responsible for today’s murder must be prosecuted and brought to justice. And we must all keep Alex’s family, friends, and community in our thoughts and prayers.

This reign of terror must end before another innocent American is murdered at the hands of ICE.
