@KatyCDodd . Afternoon. I’ve recently been diagnosed with OMG. Oct 24. I’ve only had contact with MREH the Orthoptics dept and put on Pyridostigmine. Do you know the process for who I will now be getting dealt with. MREH said MG is quite a rare condition. I’m with myaware.

Azathioprine is still an important medication in the management of MG. Liver function test rises are often transient and self limiting but we highlight how azathioprine metabolite testing can be used to help adjust the dose.

We found that azathioprine is more likely to be discontinued than mycophenolate or methotexate due to side effects (mainly liver dysfunction).
