@KrisPatel99 The green card related backlog that only affects Indians due to place of birth related quotas is the main reason behind the high H1B number. Even a simple FIFO GC system would start skewing the numbers for other nationalities on H1Bs.

I've been wondering why there has been such pushback against Indian Americans in the US over the last few years, and outside of the plain jingoistic tendencies of people who hate seeing those of a different ethnic background occupy spaces that were primarily homogenous to their own background, I think it's more economic than I had originally thought. The original poster showed sharp growth in the H-1B population in the US over the last 10 years. This increase was tolerated because demand growth allowed for ample opportunity fueled by the tech sector. The challenge is that post-COVID, the demand curve has flattened. New grads from the US are having a tougher time breaking into a field that has been saturated by prior cohorts of H-1B employees. AI is likely to only make this divide grow further. The sector will continue to expand, but the need for additional personnel is likely to remain flat and might even slightly decline, even as new grads enter the workforce and find more limited opportunities. It's likely that the pushback against H-1Bs, particularly Indians who are the largest cohort, will grow in this new world of AI. While the pushback may seem demographic, it's more likely economic. What are your thoughts?

@farzyness @SawyerMerritt How many cars are we talking about here? It would be impressive if they launched the service with 50+ cars in each city.

@SawyerMerritt Definitely a really good sign. If regulation keeps up, then Tesla will have an extremely dominant position in short order.

The fact the Tesla is launching Unsupervised Robotaxi right off the bat in Houston and Dallas makes me more bullish for the speed of the Cybercab rollout. I was expecting the Robotaxi rides in new cities to initially only be offered with safety monitors. Exciting times!

@immigrationgirl @AttyStevenBrown Hi looking for guidance My H4 and EAD expire in November 2027. My spouse will be doing an H1B amendment+ extension in August 2026. Can I apply for H4 and EAD extension bundled with H1B amendment to benefit from possible premium processing?

Dhurandhar - The Revenge has crossed worldwide revenue of ₹950 crore till now in just six days. Inches away from ₹1000 crore mark now. Going by figures by trade analysts, the film is bigger than any blockbuster ever in Indian cinema. Time to coin a new term for this feat?

I hope the lesson that everyone takes away from everything happening the last 75 Years is that the world's dependence on Oil and Nat Gas is the biggest vulnerability every country has... The amount of money that gets generated by these natural resources invites conflict. While we will still need Oil and Nat gas, reducing dependence overtime, especially for transport and electricity (which are the main use cases). The only solution that I see is Nuclear. Mass producible SMR Small Modular Reactors to be specific. This technology should not been seen as something to explore on the fringes for science projects but as a national economic and defense priority, especially for countries that don't have their own Nat Gas and Oil reserves. If you were to ask me which technology could have the greatest net benefit to society over the next 10 years, Id say its safe, mass producible nuclear.

People really have no idea how downright awesome the Tesla Cybertruck is. It’s a truck that also appeals to traditional SUV buyers because of how easy and friendly it is to drive compared to other vehicles of its size. I know a lot of owners who previously had Range Rovers, G-Wagons, and Escalades and have now converted to a Cybertruck. It’s hard to go back to anything else after you have a truck that literally drives itself.
