At Speaking Summit listening to new Voice 21 CEO @klparadine. I'm struck by how their Oracy approach is deeper than just talking tools, it's a cultural change across a school (teachers, students, parents) to helping children feel listened to and be empowered. ♥️

@EducEndowFoundn Report states that metacognition should not be taught in isolation rather embedded into other subjects. Is same true for other 21st century skills e.g. Oracy, Creativity, Leadership, Empathy etc?

@historytastic Is the problem having to scribble an update in a tatterred and easy to lose book? What if it was quick and easy to do in an app (not mine, just one I've seen)?

I'm going to say it again, as a parent I hate reading records. It changes nothing about reading habits and causes endless stress around filling it in.
