I don’t think “fans” wanted Pitino out.
He absolutely gets fired 10/10 times everywhere when the totality of it all comes into focus.
But it’s not like fans were calling for his job related to on court stuff like with Calipari.

Kentucky and Louisville deserve a hard look in the mirror. Fans wanted Pitino and Cal out. Both coaches advance past UK and UL, again. Kansas fans calling for Self’s job need to be careful of what you wish for.

I don’t ask for a lot, but would it be possible for Louisville to NOT play the very first game of the 2026 Men’s NCAAT?
They have in their last two appearances and it has resulted in full-blown nightmare fuel
