I wonder what makes us human beings think we're so superior. We can't even breathe properly when our mucus production is on overload. How are you going to take over the world when you can't even conquer your own 👃🏼 #FluRealisations #BeHumble

Oh & matches have been changed to 35 mins/half because 'women get tired.' #WhenMenMakeDecisionsForWomen 🤦🏽‍♀️ This is after the NGs started and a set of matches already being played on a 45 minutes timer. Where's the professionalism?

MD 2 9.30am: We reach the ground prepped for our match at 11am only to be told our match is rescheduled for 2 pm which the officials were told by the federations NC via a whatsapped letter. No official communication made to the teams or at least our team. @FootballPak

@FootballPak @DrFMirza If only we all wanted the sport industry of Pakistan to develop properly, we would focus more on working together and finding solutions VS in ways of displaying 'our powers' and affecting each others operations.

@KayKazmi @DrFMirza absolutely, gives those not taking part in NG ore time to prep. all seems to be happening very quickly given the NG SAG happening so close..delay by 10 days of NG also made things worse.

For the last 48 hours or so you've seen tweets and videos from the gov't and ruling party politicians on how serious and interested they are about sports. Now back to reality where they aren't interested in funding a big contingent for South Asian Games. thenews.com.pk/print/553903-p…

@FootballPak @DrFMirza Not to forget having to travel back to their cities. And the fact that the National Championship being announced 2 weeks before the supposed kick-off. How are teams & players supposed to prep?

@FootballPak @DrFMirza But clearly the PSB & Normalization committee are not working together. How can you have the National Championship 2 days after the National Games especially when players aren't full time athletes & have other obligations(unless if they don't know the realities of their players)

@Atif_baig47 @PTIKPOfficial Why is that we care more about how we come off to foreigners than our own people? They ended up experiencing the reality of our local athletes, if anything. Also we didn't have a 'proper field'. The legends had a field which the organisers wanted & signed them up for.

Here at the ground to play the first football game of the #NationalGames2019 - only to be 'welcomed' by a ground (50x90) which doesn't even meet the minimum requirement 🤦🏽‍♀️. When will we start taking female athletes seriously? @PTIKPOfficial

And delegations called at 8 a.m. only to begin at 11.30 a.m. And the athletes made to sit where nothing could be heard nor the performances be seen properly. It's 6 years later, athletes deserve better organisation of sporting events before even they lose hope
FootballPakistan.com@FootballPak

Having National Games opening ceremony on a Sunday and then not allowing general public to enter, which genius babu came up with that idea? Athletes deserve to play in front of big crowds at such an event. Here's to hoping locals turn up to show their support during the week.

@UmaidWasim @NatashaRaheel This is what happens when there's little market research and we look for quick fixes. We're a population of almost 200 million - the sport industry needs to be developed properly. There's so much potential.

It was an embarrassment. The organisers had - very boldly, and incorrectly - billed this exhibition game as the “biggest fixture in Pakistan’s history”. It didn’t even draw a big crowd. dawn.com/news/1515967/f…

Delegations called in at 8 a.m. on a Sunday morning for the opening of the #33rdNationalGames and it has still not started (11 a.m.). Successfully pushing away the minority who was still interested in the local sport industry.

7 years later - the National Games of Pakistan are being held (a.k.a. Pakistan's Olympics). One can only imagine the turmoil our sport industry is in and what the athletes have to go through
