The club is pleased to confirm the appointment of Tracey Neville as Managing Director of Stockport County Women. Tracey will play a key role in developing clear pathways from grassroots to elite football and helping shape the next phase of Stockport County Women.

Stockport County have appointed Tracey Neville as Managing Director of their women’s team. From 2026-2027, club will compete as Stockport County Women (prev Ladies) - a change they say “reflects evolution of women’s game and club’s commitment to equality, opportunity and growth.”

@KayRayner @GaryBurgessIUA They knew what was happening. My point is that they didn’t know the game had gone into ET and they were still trying to rush for the winning goal rather than playing it safely. I’ve seen it a few times now with ET.

Just caught up with the Bath vs Forest NXT Gen match!!! What a game!!! Great play, great umpiring, great presentation on the Team Bath stream as well. The 7 minutes of extra time was brilliant!!!

@GaryBurgessIUA It was a great game for spectators….maybe not for us staff 🤣 But I do think we need to look at how we inform the players it’s gone into ET. When they are full on focused in the game 🤔. Think it’s a good discussion topic moving forward if ET is here to stay.
