The unanimous dismissal of the cross-appeal filed by the former National Secretary, Samuel Anyanwu, and others, is the final judicial burial of an era marked by defiance of party discipline and constitutional order. The Supreme Court has spoken with one voice: the suspension of Samuel Anyanwu and his cohorts remains valid and subsisting. In the eyes of the law, a suspended official is a legal non-entity regarding party administration. Consequently, any action, appointment, or communiqué issued by Mr. Anyanwu and his cohorts during this period is null, void, and of no legal consequence whatsoever. The so-called National Convention held on March 29, 2026, in Abuja, was a charade—a desperate attempt to legitimize a factional agenda through the hands of suspended and expelled individuals. • Fact: You cannot build something on nothing. • Verdict: Since the conveners lacked the legal capacity to act, the entire March 29 exercise is a nullity ab initio.
