The Bandimere family has gained approval from the Town of Hudson to bring their racing business and community programs to a new 1,100-acre site near Interstate 76 and Colorado Highway 52. @Frobiwan1965 It was, but the sport is always evolving and implementing new ways to deal with delays. I bet there will be some sort of mandatory blanket/containment around the rear end in the near future. Mother Nature, on the other hand… but def kudos to NHRA this weekend.

I was at the races this weekend. it was a HARD experience as an NHRA fan and enthusiast. Pretty much everything that could go wrong did: car mishaps causing 3+ hour track delays over two days; equipment failures (christmas tree, track cleaning equipment) causing 1-2 hour delays, and of course rain delays. Kuddos to NHRA to getting all the races in, but man, it was HARD WORK dealing with all of the interruptions and delays.

The #Winternats lived up to the tradition of SoCal drama that’s been there since the race debuted in 1961. The racing was close and exciting, and the winners engaged in the thrill of winning one of NHRA’s “majors." Here’s our five big takeaways. nhra.com/news/2026/five…
