@cruzurcruzurc@palaver101@legaltweetz Yeah usually when people are calling it transphobic it’s because the reason given is something along the lines of “that would be gay” or “you’re a man though” or something that actually is transphobic.
Trans people can also be LGB. Our sexualities are just as fluid as the rest of the human population. There is no right or wrong way to do sexuality. Stop trying to be the sexuality police.
@ChrisBalchin4@legaltweetz@FreeArse I’m also trans, it is not inherently transphobic to simply not date a trans person. I can’t control what you do, and if you actually are a transphobe, I wouldn’t want to date you anyway.
@chels_eaalberta@BadMedicalTakes It’s almost implying that married couples that don’t want kids shouldn’t have sex at all… that or no married person shouldn’t want kids. Those are the only possibilities where this makes sense.
@Zeroawen I dont understand “super straight” can someone explain it to me? Like id say im straight but i mean i have trans friends and i dont rlly see nthn wrong with them i just wouldnt rlly choose to date one. But is that bad or smth?
@jykb5wzyg5@Dreamcast_Disks@Zeroawen@XanotorHUN The most hilarious part is those are the grindr colors… or the ph colors, depending on how you want to look at it. Both hilarious implications.
@jykb5wzyg5@Dreamcast_Disks@Zeroawen@XanotorHUN Oh basically they say super straight as a weird shorthand for saying “I would never date a trans person of the opposite gender, because I’m just that straight” and for some reason feel the need to make that known at every opportunity.
@AzulCrescent On the first panel my thought was “that’s already a thing, it’s called capitalism. We’re already paying recurring costs in order to continue living.”
@AGramuglia Yeah this is just demonstrably incorrect.
Hell, a more mainstream example of a magic system predating ATLA is Middle Earth, it’s an old book. And to call ATLA not a magic system is just mental gymnastics
@mime4crime@MalevolentAstra Well you see causing harm being bad is kind of something you have to assume before any moral discussion can be had. In the same way the unit has to be define before you can do math.
If you don’t understand why harming others is bad, you fundamentally misunderstand human empathy
