In Chinese literature there's a canonical Four Great Novels (Journey to the West, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Dream of the Red Chamber, Romance of the Three Kingdoms).

Preface this with me saying I don’t really like the set.
But saying this is one of the worst patches of all time balance wise is just a crazy take to me.
Lowkey gives me hope for TFT future. If we can forget how bad balance used to be we can forget how boring this set was too.

@catmanmanson @nise_yoshimi I think only perimeter to me feels meh. Dire marsh and outpost i really like the specific terrain and compound layouts. Fairly sure perimeter is intentionally "simpler" as well though.

Marathon is interesting to me because its clearly doing something in the minor level of friction in the gameplay experience designed to support the brutal, hollow maximalism of its setting, and thats not a lot of friction, but it's enough to see an Intent. Also sexy robots

@Sykko_xo @PaulTassi 140,000, on steam, people gave it a shot. The initial hours were so rough that many people shut it off and never gave it another thought. Tarkov has peaked at 47,000. Extraction shooters are very niche. Don't blame some forced hate narrative.
