When you have consequences for crime, the numbers go down dramatically—as we are seeing in the District with historic drops in homicides and carjackings. To keep driving these numbers down, D.C. must lower the age of accountability. We need to hold juvenile offenders accountable early—saving them from a future of serious crime and even longer prison sentences.

This morning, I joined @SatAmericaFNC on Fox News to discuss the Democratic Socialists of America's platform and why I believe its policies are too radical for our country. The DSA's platform calls for abolishing institutions like the U.S. Senate, the Electoral College, ICE, and even replacing the Supreme Court. I believe we should focus on strengthening our institutions, not dismantling them, and moving our country forward. I am a Democrat, and as a Democrat, I reject their radical positions. Senator Fetterman just took fellow Democrat Bernie Sanders to the woodshed over his support for radical left-wing candidates. Fetterman said Sanders should “humble himself” after backing an accused rapist in Maine and is now campaigning for “pro-Hamas” Islamist Abdul El-Sayed. FETTERMAN: “It’s hilarious, you know.” “Bernie is there campaigning for this guy [El-Sayed]. You know, humble yourself, Bernie.” “You just pushed an accused rapist that imploded up in Maine, and now you’re pushing, essentially, a pro-Hamas candidate that’s to been anti-american and deeply anti-Israel.” “You know, he’s a socialist that earns $700,000 last year. His wife in private practice, she refuses to accept Medicaid for that. I mean, he’s a phony, and he has said incredibly anti-American things.” “And I would remind all the Democrats, he participated and was very involved in the no commitment vote, you know, during the campaign during when Harris was running for president.
