Do Nigerians really know what the responsibilities of the Federal government, state governments and local governments are? They blame the President for every single thing.

Frank Edoho’s wife shares her side of the story - After the video recording between her and Chike was leaked by a blogger, Frank’s ex-wife made a post about “surviving Frank Edoho.” - She revealed that while she was pregnant with their first child, Frank Edoho allegedly had an affair with actress Mbong Amata and other women. - She explained that she would cry on the floor for days, begging him to see her, but he would walk out and not return home for days. - She also revealed that he pressured her to abort their second child because he was not ready to be a father, while she accused him of having numerous relationships. - Sandra Edoho revealed that she went through emotional, psychological, mental, and physical abuse, but she stayed committed and shielded him. - Sandra called Frank a deadbeat and said she had been the one funding his lavish lifestyle. She said she paid for all his trips, business class tickets, home bills, and bills for his children from his previous marriage. - She said she took his mum to the United States and that she lived with her parents for several years. - She accused him of spending her money on different women and hotels because he had access to her funds. She also said he sold her property without her permission and spent the money on different girls. - She claimed he would disappear for weeks with Adaeze Ugboaja and BBN ex-housemate, Tega Dominic. She also revealed that he linked up with Amaka Okeke and said he told her he was trying to connect her for an endorsement, but she accused him of sleeping with her too. - She talked about how he is on Snapchat with different women, blowing them kisses. She revealed she once walked in on him talking to another lady for over an hour, and she almost passed out from anger. - She said she was a great and faithful wife to him, but she chose herself, walked away, and filed for divorce. - She ended it by saying she is an adult woman and can be friends with or date anyone she wants. - She revealed that there is evidence for all the allegations and advised Frank to move on. What are your thoughts??

The new Electoral Act and INEC timetable have really changed the Nigerian political landscape. Politicians can no longer lose primaries, get angry, and immediately jump to another party to contest elections. The window is now too tight for that kind of political migration. Most of the usual SPV political parties may also die a natural death, because disappointed aspirants no longer have enough time to move there after primaries. Now, everyone will remain in their parties, manage their grievances internally, and resolve their issues from within. It's typical to look before you leap ooo, if ticket no sure, jeje decamp before the primaries.

There is no point getting jittery over Seyi Makinde’s ambition. Your panic is sponsored by ignorance. Go and look at the 2023 presidential elections results, Atiku had a substantial votes in Oyo states from the traditional PDP base. Seyi will only be looking at that pool of voters. No body that voted PBAT in the last elections will vote Seyi. Atiku should be more worried.

One thing about democracy is that, contrary to popular belief, it does not always reward competence. More often, it reflects people’s biases, emotions, loyalties, and personal interests. Take a look at BAT and the other candidate who struggled to explain inflation without linking it to “structure of criminality” and Yet both still commanded massive support. The reality is simple: people vote for different reasons, and competence is rarely at the very top of the list.

President Tinubu: Investment is very cowardly unless you are transparent, accountable and forthright. Part of that is Africa looking at itself putting our resources together so we can go out there and negotiate for ourselves. I wrote an article in the Financial Times talking about international rating agencies.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu@officialABAT·
Speaking at the Africa CEO Forum Presidential Panel yesterday evening in Kigali, I re-emphasised that Africa must put Africa first whilst creating opportunities for intra-Africa collaboration between our countries. Our continent cannot build scale by looking outward first. We must invest in one another, trade more with one another, build the corridors that connect our markets, ensure our innovative youthful population get the support they need, and give African businesses the confidence to expand across African borders. Nigeria’s reforms are not only about fixing yesterday. They are about preparing our economy to lead in the Africa of tomorrow. With AfCFTA, digital trade, shared infrastructure, stronger logistics, commodities exchange, and deeper private sector partnerships, we can turn Africa’s population and resources into real continental prosperity. The global risk and financial architecture must also give Africa a fair deal that recognises our local nuances and contexts. I thank my brother, President Paul Kagame, for his warm hospitality and for Rwanda’s continued leadership in showing what discipline, clarity and execution can do for development. Nigeria will continue to work with Rwanda and other African partners to build a continent that produces more, trades more, connects better, and competes with greater confidence in the world. Africa’s future will not be handed to us. We must build it, own it, and defend it together. ~ Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR

STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE APM TERMINALS PRESIDENT PLEDGES FRESH $600M INVESTMENT IN NIGERIA, CALLS FOR DEEPER INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS   President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's economic and investment drive received a further boost on Thursday, as world-class port operator APM Terminals pledged a $600 million investment in Nigeria's maritime sector.   Regional President, APM Terminals Africa-Europe, Igor van den Essen, disclosed this when he led other executives, including Head of Investments, APM Terminals, Martijn Van Dongen, and CEO, APM Terminals Nigeria, Frederik Klinke, to meet with President Tinubu on the sidelines of the ongoing Africa CEO Forum in Kigali, Rwanda.   Igor van den Essen said the proposed investments will be deployed in Apapa port modernisation, logistics infrastructure, and long-term private-sector investment in Nigeria’s maritime sector.   President Tinubu welcomed the investments, emphasising that Nigeria is repositioning itself for greater competitiveness through ongoing economic reforms and infrastructure modernisation.   He said the country is determined to move beyond structural bottlenecks and outdated systems, stressing the need for advanced technology, faster cargo processing, and improved operational efficiency across the nation's ports.   He emphasised that Nigeria possesses the market scale, talent base, and economic potential to support globally competitive maritime and logistics infrastructure investments and called on other investors to take advantage of Nigeria's reform outcomes.   Earlier, Igor van den Essen lauded President Tinubu's reform agenda and policy direction, which had strengthened investor confidence and created renewed momentum for long-term infrastructure investments.   He described Nigeria as a strategic stronghold within its African operations, referencing over 20 years of collaboration and substantial existing investments in the country’s port ecosystem.   He reaffirmed his company's commitment to expanding investments in Nigeria and disclosed plans to support the development of world-class terminal infrastructure and technology-driven port operations.   He also commended President Tinubu for establishing the National Single Window (NSW), which has streamlined trade procedures, improved Customs coordination, and reduced delays in cargo clearance.   In another meeting with Winme Group executives, President Bola Tinubu called for deeper investment partnerships to unlock Nigeria’s opportunities in logistics, mining, shipping, and integrated infrastructure development.   He stressed the need for integrated investments linking ports, transport systems, processing facilities, and export infrastructure to drive industrial growth and competitiveness.   The delegation expressed confidence in Nigeria’s long-term investment potential, having closely followed President Tinubu’s reforms.   Bayo Onanuga Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy) May 14, 2026
