Relationships are so beautiful when you and your partner are actually good friends. You show up together, share inside jokes, talk openly, have fun, and totally vibe like besties. They don't replace your actual friends but it’s so amazing when the dynamic isn't just romantic.

There are better uses of time than begging, guilting, reasoning, threatening people to change who’ve repeatedly shown they don’t want to change. Like throwing a ball to a dog. Like watering a plant. Like making some French press coffee. Like taking a nap. Like sharpening pencils.

If you believe “Family is everything” then please hold any family member accountable who abuses others. By not addressing this, your family will become nothing to those who need family most.

Instead of beating yourself up for not leaving sooner, honor yourself for trying so hard to be loved.

Toxic individuals don't lie to you because the truth will hurt your feelings. They lie to you because the truth might provoke you to make choices that won't serve their interest.

Narcissists don't change. They don't see themselves as the problem. They just blame everything on everyone else and move on to someone unaware of their manipulation.

You don't owe loyalty and silence to unhealthy situations. Healing starts when you acknowledge the truth.

normalize not forcing people to choose you. If somebody thinks they can find better elsewhere – let them. Respectfully.

You are too important to waste your time on what toxic individuals think about you. You've got too much to do..

y’all ever feel like you wasted time being around certain people? Like We was friends for what? We Dated for what? We was cool for what? Just for you to teach me this in the end? I ain’t ask to be taught a lesson. I just wanted the right company around me, loyalty, and respect.

We cannot sin in isolation. Whenever you and I sin, we sin not only against God Himself, but also against the body. We fool ourselves into thinking it will not affect anyone else. That makes any sinfulness on our part far more serious than the act itself.

Fall in love with someone who deserves your heart. Not someone who plays with it.

Stop oversharing – not everyone has your best interests at heart. Being private af about your personal life is top tier self-care.
