not the monster they were being told you were.
And the moment you did?
Suddenly you’re just as bad.
Or worse — now you’re the aggressor.
…Now you’re in the mud WITH the pig.
They will look people dead in the eye
and act as if you attacked them first.
As if they have no memory
of starting a war on someone
who was simply minding their own business.
The fury they turn on you isn’t confusion.
It isn’t hurt feelings.
It’s the rage of someone
whose story is falling apart.

A narcissist will start a war with you out of nowhere.
You weren’t bothering them.
You weren’t threatening them.
You weren’t even thinking about them.
They saw you.
They targeted you.
And they started destroying your reputation before you even knew you were under attack.

You know what I won’t be doing this summer? Going to my local market town which now has Afghan migrants in (and yes there have been r@pes).

Many of us try to see the best in people. Narcissists see a mirror darkly version of you that isn’t you at all and they’ll see it so firmly, they’ll try to make it who you are.
It’s like they NEED you to be a diminished version of yourself. Over time, we might even start to believe their negative, abusive perspective of us.
And that’s their goal; spiritual murder.

A jury in the re-trial of two brothers accused of assaulting a police officer at Manchester Airport has failed to reach a verdict.
Mohammed Fahir Amaaz and Muhammad Amaad were both on trial of assaulting armed PC Zachary Marsden.
It's all on CCTV.
We're being taken for fools.
