@ComicKilligan @vicious696 I mean, it isn’t her vision. It’s just simply the reality of the hardware market which is to Parris’s point. Xbox is already not making enough money, as they stated. They aren’t going to eat $100s on every console sold. Tough spot to be in.

@vicious696 The vision makes zero sense. Asha claims people can't afford pricey consoles, but then pushes exclusives on a low-user platform and drops this news? Talk about mixed signals. Honestly what is the vision? Microsoft really needed to eat the loss here just to get some goodwill back.

@Stallion83 Right right. I mean like if a game isn’t in BC, some games which haven’t been put in the program, do they also look like this? Say like The Saboteur, Afro Samurai etc…they have that funky vertical box art that doesn’t fit the new parameters.

@SteamDeckHQ Several readily available desktop builds will be significantly better at the same or cheaper. You could go with ITX if you want a smaller box. There’s no need to justify the Box, as Valve themselves pretty much aren’t and can’t because of the market.

Linus is completely out of touch.
PS5 will be a graveyard soon, with no access to the vast majority of games out there, while the Steam Machine will be able to run the latest indie games for a decade.
buy game on PS5, rebuy on PS6... or play your entire existing Steam library.
