I cant decide what makes grief so exhausting. The constant anxiety; what should i be doing, how should i be acting? Always pushing myself to do better, feel better? Always being on edge? Dismantling a life built for 2? The frantic avoidance of the chasm of despair? #Grief #Widow

@CumberdickB Ah lovely. My son did something very similar for me yesterday. I was exhausted and he wanted to apologise for being a bit of a brat the night before so he went to Sainsbury’s after school, bought me a steak and cooked it for me. Gobsmacked! Mainly that he had money for steak! 🤣

When the kids know your struggling so get together to cheer you up. 🥲
